Poster Collection
Abstract
The Poster Collection consists of posters produced by each of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts' five schools, as well as those from all-school productions, international programs, special events, campus life, the Stevens Center, and professional affiliate organizations. Posters range in size and typically include text and graphics announcing performances and events related to the school.

The collection is organized into 11 series: Series 1. School of Dance; Series 2. School of Drama; Series 3. School of Music; Series 4. School of Filmmaking; Series 5. School of Design and Production; Series 6. All-School Productions; Series 7. Campus Life; Series 8. Promotionals, Scholarships, and Summer Sessions; Series 9. Galas and Special Events; Series 10. Stevens Center; and Series 11. Professional Affiliates.
Within each series, posters are arranged in chronological order. In Series 11, poster have been group by affiliate and arranged chronologically.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
Posters transferred primarily from the Public Relations department, among other UNCSA offices and departments.
Accruals
Additions to the collection will be made regularly as posters are transferred or donated to the Archives.

Selected material from the Poster Collection has been digitized and is available in the UNCSA Archives Digital Collections.
